About the Role
Reditus Space is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Intern to support the company’s efforts in commercial customer engagement and government contracting for the ENOS mission — a reusable reentry vehicle enabling microgravity manufacturing and research. This role offers exposure to both sides of space sector business development: identifying commercial opportunities and navigating the U.S. government procurement landscape.

You’ll work closely with the leadership team to shape customer strategy, prepare materials for key stakeholders, and support proposal efforts for programs with NASA, DoD, and other agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and identify potential commercial and government customers
  • Support the preparation of government contract proposals (e.g., SBIR/STTR, OTA, NASA BAAs)
  • Track federal procurement opportunities and build internal summaries of solicitations
  • Assist in developing presentations, pitch decks, and outreach materials
  • Analyze industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic positioning
  • Coordinate meetings with prospective partners and maintain CRM data
  • Contribute to internal tracking of proposal deadlines, submission requirements, and compliance documentation

Qualifications

  • Senior undergraduate or graduate student in Business, Economics, Public Policy, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in technical and professional contexts
  • Interest in both commercial and government space markets
  • Experience with government proposal writing, CRM tools, or federal contracting processes is a plus
  • Highly organized and comfortable working independently in a dynamic startup environment
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to dive into unfamiliar topics
