Spacecraft Engineering Intern

About the Role
Reditus Space is seeking a multidisciplinary Spacecraft Engineering Intern to support the development, integration, and testing of our ENOS reentry platform — a reusable spacecraft enabling microgravity research and advanced manufacturing in orbit. This role is ideal for candidates who want broad exposure to systems engineering, integration, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-moving space hardware environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to system-level design, integration, and verification of spacecraft subsystems
• Support mission operations planning, interface definition, and subsystem compatibility assessments
• Assist with test planning, execution, and analysis for environmental and functional validation
• Maintain and update system models, configuration control documentation, and interface control drawings
• Participate in technical reviews, anomaly resolution, and real-time issue tracking across subsystems

Qualifications

• Senior undergraduate or graduate student in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Strong generalist background with experience across multiple domains (e.g., thermal, avionics, propulsion, structures)
• Familiarity with spacecraft system architectures, mission profiles, and subsystem integration challenges
• Experience with tools such as CAD, Ansys, GMAT is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate across technical disciplines
