About Pylon

Post-covid, businesses have started shifting the way they communicate with customers from email to chat platforms like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Discord. At Pylon, we are building a real-time customer operations platform to help support, success, and sales teams at places like Hightouch, Merge, and Sardine scalably meet their customers where they live.

Just like how Zendesk made email scalable in a support context, Mailchimp made email scalable in a marketing context, and Salesforce & Outreach made email scalable in a sales context, Pylon is making chat scalable across customer-facing functions.

About the role

At Pylon, we're building the future of B2B Support.

Top support and success teams at companies like Hightouch, Merge, and Sardine use Pylon to manage their customer support and customer success.

We’re building an all-in-one support platform powered by conversational data and layered with intelligence to help our customers run their operations in real-time. We just raised our Series B and are backed by YCombinator, General Catalyst, Bain, and a16z and have over 1000 B2B companies trusting Pylon to power their customer support and success.

This is a fully in-person role; we do not offer remote or hybrid options.

What you will do

  • Take ownership of Pylon's long-form and short-form written content

  • Post product updates 5x/week on LinkedIn & X (example)

  • Weekly spotlights, feature update newsletters, videos

  • Create product guides, blog posts, optimizing for SEO wherever possible

  • Work with our PMM and Growth Lead on all integrated marketing campaigns

What we are looking for

  • You've done the work before and can work autonomously

  • You're creative, organized, scrappy, and biased toward action

  • You're a clear, concise writer and able to write in a startup-friendly, "non-corporate" and "non-marketing" tone

  • 2+ years content marketing experience

  • 2+ years working at a B2B SaaS startup
