We're on the frontier of building an AI-native professional services company. We're building the best AI commercial insurance distribution engine for scale.
36 million businesses in America need insurance. It's not optional—regulations require it, contracts demand it, landlords won't lease without it. Yet the industry is broken.
77% of small businesses are underinsured. 40% have no coverage at all. Most don't even understand what their policies cover. They're running with risk because the distribution system failed them—too slow, too opaque, too confusing to navigate.
Over 90% of commercial insurance distribution is still human-led. The same manual process as 30 years ago—just with email instead of fax. Brokers playing phone tag with underwriters. Customers chasing quotes for weeks. Everyone hoping someone gets it right.
We're building the inverse: 90%+ AI-led, inching toward the higher 90s. We've cracked the code on profitable unit economics in healthcare, life sciences, education, and hospitality segments. The infrastructure works. Now we need someone to flood it with leads.
Every industry with human-bounded distribution consolidates rapidly once someone makes it computational. Search had thousands of engines until Google made ranking computational. Ride-hailing was fragmented until Uber made dispatch computational.
When distribution becomes computational, Jevons Paradox kicks in: increased efficiency leads to increased consumption. Better search didn't mean less searching—it meant vastly more. Cheaper rides didn't mean fewer trips—it meant transportation for use cases that never existed.
Insurance will follow the same pattern. When getting the right coverage becomes fast and frictionless, the 77% of underinsured businesses will finally get properly protected. The market expands, not contracts.
We're building the engine that makes that happen. You'll keep it fed.
You'll own lead generation across every channel that works. This isn't "support the sales team"—this is build the pipeline that powers the company.
We've identified profitable segments. Your job is to pursue them relentlessly until Harper dominates mindshare. Find micro-segments with strong unit economics, systematically capture every prospect, and keep the funnel overflowing.
This isn't a role for someone who needs direction. It's for someone who sees data, identifies opportunity, and capitalizes without being asked. You'll work directly with the founders. There's no committee. No approval chain. You find them, you flood the pipeline, you measure the outcome.
Find and flood. Identify profitable micro-segments and systematically capture every prospect. When you find winners, you don't stop until that market is yours. Healthcare, life sciences, education, hospitality—and whatever segments you discover next.
Drive volume through data. Your north star is qualified lead volume. Data-driven targeting, channel optimization, relentless iteration. You spot patterns, suggest new segments, test channels—you don't wait for permission.
Own the full funnel. From first touch to sales handoff. You understand what makes a lead convert and you optimize backwards from revenue, not vanity metrics. You find them, sales converts them. Your job: keep the pipeline flowing.
Iterate continuously. Test channels, kill what doesn't work, double down on what does. Build playbooks for segments that scale. Every week should be better than the last because you learned something and acted on it.
You take ownership without micromanagement. You see the goal, you create the path. You don't wait for briefs or approval cycles. You figure out what needs to happen and you make it happen.
You make decisions based on data. Not hunches, not opinions—data. You know how to read a funnel, identify bottlenecks, and fix them. You can tell the difference between a vanity metric and one that matters.
You pursue segments with laser focus. When you find a winning segment, you don't get distracted. You systematically capture every prospect until that market is yours. Then you find the next one.
You self-direct your learning. You optimize continuously without hand-holding. You read, you test, you learn. You're better at this job in six months than you are today because you made yourself better.
You've driven lead volume before. You've run campaigns that generated real pipeline—not impressions, not clicks, actual qualified leads that converted to revenue. You understand CAC, conversion rates, and channel economics.
