Our story so far:

Founded in 2024 as a better way to conduct qualitative interviews, Conveo quickly gained traction after going through the Summer 24 Y Combinator batch where we saw significant interest from Consumer Goods companies. After raising our $5.3m seed round, we executed closely with our customers to build the best qualitative market research platform centered around AI-moderated interviews. Since then we’ve expanded our scope, grown our team, and Today, we're seeing incredibly strong adoption and usage across Insights, marketing, innovation, and strategy teams in industries like: Consumer goods, Retail, Pharma, technology, and consumer services.

Background

  • We help companies understand their customers, giving us virtually unlimited market potential. The market research industry is valued at approximately $100B, with qualitative solutions representing a $30B opportunity. With AI enablement, this market is expanding rapidly. This is an infinite horizon problem.
  • Experienced team. Our head of research was the founder of a market research company with 600+ employees, our CEO previously co-founded a $75m ARR startup as CTO. Our commercial and operational teams bring their operational excellence from McKinsey, while our sales leadership includes former VPs from Ipsos.
  • We believe in forging deep collaborations with our customers. In just 15 months, we've landed deals with some of the world's largest companies that are quickly expanding their work with us, including Unilever, P&G, AB InBev, Nestlé, Google and many others. Conveo is the AI research platform enabling fast, affordable, and high quality consumer / B2B research. Global brands like Unilever, Google, and Orange use our AI video interviewer to generate insights across marketing, product, and research teams.

Traditional research is slow, expensive, and often superficial. Doing great research requires expertise that many companies don’t have. That limits how well companies understand their customers and how well they can serve them.

The Role

As a Legendary Marketing Producer, you are a generalist operator who owns initiatives end-to-end.

This is not a role with a neat box.
This is the role that exists because real life is messy.

The title for this role is deliberate. We didnt put Legendary Marketeer or Marketing Legend.
We put producer, because this is a role that cares about getting things over the finish line, whatever it takes!

So what will you be producing?
Anything marketing that:

  • doesn’t yet have a clear owner (and even things that do, as capacity peaks are part of startup life and we dont let them stop us)
  • requires coordination + execution
  • needs to move fast without drama

You don’t just contribute.
You own, coordinate, and ship.


Your Mission

1) Own initiatives from idea to outcome

You take responsibility for getting things done:

  • content pieces
  • campaigns
  • launches
  • vertical/industry enablement
  • (paid) media opportunities
  • role-based narratives (CMI, UX, Insights, etc.)
  • webinars, reports, or side projects

You figure out what needs to happen, and you make it happen.
Reactive & proactive, there are more ideas here than there will ever be resources.

2) Coordinate without becoming dependent

You are strong at coordination, but not reliant on others.

You:

  • pull in design, distribution, product marketing, events, customer succes, sales, external help etc. when needed
  • unblock dependencies & keep momentum
  • step in and do the work yourself when that’s faster

The goal is progress, not perfection.

3) Act as a backstop when capacity spikes

When functional owners (product marketing, events, social, etc.) hit capacity limits, you step in.

You help absorb peaks, prevent bottlenecks, and keep output flowing without quality dropping.

4) Own a slice of the market or messaging

Each Marketing Producer will own some fixed recurring initiatives:

  • a channel (e.g. GreenBook) or
  • a vertical (e.g. Pharma, CPG) or
  • a role-based narrative (e.g. CMI, UX, Research Ops)

You become the internal expert for that slice, messaging, content, distribution, opportunities and are both proactive in developing them and the single point of contact to requests that fall into that area.

5) Run syndicated research (when relevant)

Syndicated research is a high-leverage content and pipeline driver.

A Marketing Producer may:

  • coordinate research topics
  • work with product + research
  • package insights
  • launch and distribute outputs
  • repurpose across content, sales, and events

You treat research like an asset, not a PDF.

6) Ship consistently

You don’t disappear for months working on “the big thing.”

You ship weekly.
You learn.
You improve.
You keep momentum.


What we’re looking for

Non-negotiables

  • Strong generalist marketing background or equivalent operator experience
  • Proven ability to own initiatives end-to-end
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Comfortable working across content, events, distribution, and product marketing
  • Ability to execute with minimal dependencies
  • High output and reliability
  • Strong writing or content instincts
  • Light design or editing skills

Mindset

  • High agency, low ego
  • Outcome-driven
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Pragmatic and fast
  • Quality-focused but not perfectionist
  • Enjoys ownership more than job titles

Bonus (not required)

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, AI, or market research
  • Experience owning a channel or vertical
  • Webinar, research, or event experience
  • Comfortable presenting or moderating sessions
  • Knowledge of Hubspot

What success looks like

  • Initiatives consistently ship without getting stuck
  • Gaps in ownership don’t slow the team down
  • Content, campaigns, and research outputs increase in volume and quality
  • Functional owners feel supported, not blocked
  • Marketing output scales without adding chaos
  • Internal feedback consistently says: “This would not have happened without you.”
  • Marketing Producers become force multipliers across the org
