About Hadrius

Hadrius automates and consolidates securities compliance for investment firms. To do this, we’re building the automated back office for financial firms, using AI to analyze millions of data points from emails to text messages, marketing copy, investment accounts, filings, and more to identify regulatory violations.

Today, over 300+ financial institutions managing $4T+ AUM rely on Hadrius to automate their regulatory compliance. We’re the fastest growing company in the space and the emerging category leader, going from our launch out of the YC W23 batch to $XMs+ ARR in under 24 months and haven’t slowed down since. We have a world-class team and product competing against legacy software that hasn't innovated in decades, and are looking for exceptional people dedicated to our shared mission to join.

About the role

This is a full-time role as Founding People Ops, located onsite in New York, NY.

We’re looking for a high-energy, relentlessly organized operator to own and elevate the heartbeat of Hadrius: our people, our culture, and our environment. You’ll manage everything from the physical workspace to company-wide culture design, creating an atmosphere of excellence, momentum, and “enthusiastic grind.”

This role blends creativity, discipline, and leadership. You’ll keep the office running like clockwork, design events that bring people together, codify what makes Hadrius exceptional, and ensure every process from onboarding to all-hands, reinforces Hadrius values. You’ll be the architect of how it feels to work here.

You will work directly with the founding team to design and build the future of the financial system, starting with the team that builds it. We pride ourselves on having a culture that rewards impact and success generously. We’re focused first and foremost on empowering each other to do our best work, today and into the future. You'll be on a team that works incredibly hard and seeks other exceptional people excited to do the same.

Responsibilities

First week:

  • Learn the Hadrius culture, values, and how the company operates day-to-day.
  • Audit the current office setup, operations workflows, and team communication systems.
  • Meet every team member to understand what’s working, what’s not, and what energizes them.
  • Take ownership of the New York office environment: organization, design, supplies, and systems.

First month:

  • Redesign and systematize the office environment to maximize energy, cleanliness, and functionality.
  • Plan and host 1–2 culture events that set the tone for what Hadrius stands for.
  • Codify company values and working norms into a clear, internal “Hadrius Operating Manual.”
  • Formalize people processes: onboarding, reviews, celebrations, communication rhythms, etc.
  • Partner with leadership to define the culture narrative: how we describe our ethos internally and externally.
  • Take ownership of all HR admin, payroll coordination, and benefits operations.

First 3 months & beyond:

  • Design and run high-impact cultural programs that keep morale and performance high.
  • Build scalable people infrastructure: onboarding automation, feedback systems, engagement rituals.
  • Continuously evolve the office and culture to match our growth, adding polish, rhythm, and precision as we scale.
  • Be the living example of the Hadrius culture: energy, excellence, and execution.
  • Create a workplace that every team member is proud to be part of and where the best people in the world want to work.

About You

  • Organized & relentless: You take ownership of details big and small, from culture systems to coffee restocks.
  • Creative builder: You love turning blank slates into environments and experiences that inspire.
  • Operator: You thrive on structure: processes, systems, and documentation that scale.
  • Culture shaper: You understand how environment, communication, and ritual drive behavior and performance.
  • Empathetic & high-bar: You balance care for people with an obsession for excellence.
  • All-in: You want to be part of something intense, meaningful, and fast-moving.
  • Mission-driven: You believe culture is a strategic asset, not an afterthought.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in People Ops, HR, or Operations (startup experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to create and scale people systems in high-growth environments
  • Strong project management and organization skills, nothing slips through the cracks
  • Deep understanding of workplace culture dynamics and event planning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident representing the company internally and externally
  • Familiarity with HR systems (Gusto, Rippling, Deel, etc.) a plus
  • Experience managing an office or workplace environment a strong plus

Benefits

  • 401k (100% match up to 6%)
  • Destination Airbnb company work retreats 2–4 times a year
  • Healthcare, dental, vision, etc.
