To do this, we’re building the automated back office for financial firms, using AI to analyze millions of data points from emails to text messages, marketing copy, investment accounts, filings, and more to identify regulatory violations.

About the role

This is a full-time role as a Founding Operator, located onsite in New York, NY.

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, systems-minded operator to own and scale the backbone of Hadrius’ operations across the company. You’ll be the engine that keeps the company running smoothly, enabling the founding team to move faster and make better decisions.

You’ll be responsible for building the processes, tools, and reporting infrastructure that keep every team—sales, product, partnerships, and leadership—aligned and executing at peak speed. This is a role for someone who thrives on solving hard problems, building from zero, and wearing multiple hats. Your responsibilities will evolve quickly as the business does: expect to move across diverse tasks and own ambiguous, high-leverage projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

First week:

  • Understand the core problems Hadrius solves, our ICP, our value proposition, the Hadrius platform, pricing structure, and roadmap
  • Learn our existing tools, systems, and workflows across all teams
  • Audit current processes for sales, partnerships, customer success, and product delivery
  • Deliver a first set of quick-win improvements to remove obvious operational bottlenecks

First month:

  • Stand up dashboards and reporting to give leadership real-time visibility into metrics across revenue, product, and operations
  • Create and document scalable processes for at least 2 core functions (e.g., recruiting, onboarding, renewals)
  • Own internal meeting cadences and ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Create and own the operating model for the business and identify 3-5 high-leverage projects to close the gap between model and reality to execute over the next quarter

First 3 months & beyond:

  • Reduced friction across at least 5 critical workflows, improving speed or accuracy measurably
  • Built a scalable operating system for the company that can support 2–3x headcount without breaking
  • Owned and improved company OKR process, ensuring all teams are hitting goals
  • Clear roadmap to operational excellence across finance, sales ops, GTM ops, and internal tooling
  • Successfully executed 3-5 of the high-leverage projects identified in your first month, updating the business’s operating model accordingly, and setup to continue regular cadence of “high-leverage projects identified to projects completed”

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in business operations, strategy, or chief-of-staff-type roles
  • Proven track record of building and scaling operational systems from scratch
  • Strong analytical skills; fluent in Excel/Sheets and familiar with BI/reporting tools
  • Prior experience developing business operating models
  • Bonus points if you’ve operated in a compliance/financial services or B2B SaaS startup environment
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup
