About Hadrius

Hadrius automates and consolidates securities compliance for investment firms. To do this, we’re building the automated back office for financial firms, using AI to analyze millions of data points from emails to text messages, marketing copy, investment accounts, filings, and more to identify regulatory violations.

Today, over 300+ financial institutions managing $4T+ AUM rely on Hadrius to automate their regulatory compliance. We’re the fastest growing company in the space and the emerging category leader, going from our launch out of the YC W23 batch to $XMs+ ARR in under 24 months and haven’t slowed down since. We have a world-class team and product competing against legacy software that hasn't innovated in decades, and are looking for exceptional people dedicated to our shared mission to join.

About the role

This is a full-time role as Head of Finance, located onsite in New York, NY.

We’re looking for an operationally excellent, strategically minded finance leader to own Hadrius’s financial systems, planning, and decision-making. You’ll be the connective tissue between data and strategy, turning numbers into insights, insights into action, and action into compounding growth.

You’ll partner directly with the CEO and leadership team to shape company strategy, manage capital, and build a world-class finance function that can scale with Hadrius through our next stage of growth. This is a hands-on role: you’ll be equally comfortable modeling scenarios in Excel, leading board discussions, and architecting scalable financial infrastructure.

You will work directly with the founding team to design and build the future of the financial system. We pride ourselves on having a culture that rewards impact and success generously. We’re focused first and foremost on empowering each other to do our best work, today and into the future. You'll be on a team that works incredibly hard and seeks other exceptional people excited to do the same.

Responsibilities

First week:

  • Get deep context on our current financial systems, structure, and growth model
  • Understand how we generate and measure ARR, NDR, CAC payback, burn multiple, and other key SaaS metrics
  • Review current reporting cadence, investor updates, and board materials
  • Identify near-term opportunities to tighten forecasting, spending discipline, and reporting

First month:

  • Build a clean, forward-looking financial model integrating revenue, headcount, and cash projections
  • Partner with Sales and Product leadership to align financial forecasts with pipeline, pricing, and roadmap strategy
  • Establish financial rhythm: monthly closes, burn tracking, and departmental budgets
  • Begin implementing scalable systems for accounting, forecasting, and data accuracy
  • Define and track the 5–7 KPIs that matter most to our growth and investor story

First 3 months & beyond:

  • Own all company financials, forecasts, and board reporting
  • Build the infrastructure to scale finance through $10M+ ARR and multiple rounds ahead
  • Optimize cash efficiency: improve burn multiple, manage hiring velocity, and drive margin expansion
  • Prepare and own quarterly board financial materials and investor updates
  • Partner with leadership to shape pricing, capital allocation, and future fundraising strategy
  • Recruit and develop a small but elite finance and operations team beneath you

About You

  • Exceptionally skilled: You bring sharp financial intuition and understand how SaaS businesses scale.
  • Operationally excellent: You love building clean systems that give clarity and control.
  • Strategic: You see finance as a tool to accelerate decision-making, not slow it down.
  • Hands-on: You can jump between board-level strategy and detailed financial modeling.
  • All-in: You thrive in high-velocity environments where growth and precision coexist.
  • Mission-driven: You believe in Hadrius’s mission to make financial systems safer, smarter, and more resilient.
  • Team-first: You care about building a culture of trust, excellence, and accountability.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in finance or FP&A, ideally within high-growth SaaS or fintech
  • Prior experience in a Head of Finance role
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, forecasting, and capital strategy
  • Experience leading budgeting, planning, and investor reporting processes
  • Strong modeling skills and proficiency in Excel/Sheets
  • Previous experience in venture-backed startup environments (Series A–C)
  • Bonus: CPA, CFA, or prior experience in investment banking or corporate development

Benefits

  • 401k (100% match up to 6%)
  • Destination Airbnb company work retreats 2-4 times a year
  • Healthcare, dental, vision, etc.
