Job Description:

Content is built to enhance brand visibility, drive traffic, and generate conversions. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content marketing for an expansive tech industry.

As a Content Marketing Intern, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Marketing team in producing content, measuring effectiveness of the written and video content you produce, and identifying gaps in topics branded by the business. This role will have clear, measurable, and doable outcomes expected of you. 

Responsibilities:

• Produce Data-driven, SEO-driven Content: Aid in creating engaging and compelling content for digital platforms, including blogs, data sheets, videos, and other multimedia content.
• Drive SEO: Assist in optimizing website content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic visibility and ranking.
• Email Marketing: Support the email marketing efforts by helping to create email campaigns, drafting email copy, and segmenting email lists.
• Video Editing: Generate creative ideas for marketing materials, including videos and social media reels, that promote our products and success stories.
• Analytics and Reporting: Assist in tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) across digital marketing channels.
• Research and Trends: Stay updated on digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. As well as, conduct research on industry competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for gaining conversions and revenue through your content production.

Requirements:

• Please be expected to work in the office during your initial ramp-up period. AFTER your ramp-up period, you may work remotely. 
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English/Communications, Business, or related field.
• Strong passion for content marketing and an eagerness to learn technical SEO.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital advertising concepts.
• Basic knowledge of social media channels and ability to glean channel-department analytics.
• Adequate willingness to learn how to measure effectiveness of content and impact. 
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, and communication skills that are especially needed of you when working remotely. 
• Proficiency in written editing (based on feedback from Head of Marketing) and editing videos using any of these software: Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.
• Digital portfolio or strong examples showcasing previous work is required.

Our HQ is located in San Mateo, CA.This role entails a commitment of at least 15 hours per week. This role will have clear, measurable, and doable outcomes expected of you.
