About the role

Hona is seeking a Support Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Support Engineer, you will triage, troubleshoot, and fix incoming bugs and client requests. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying areas of our systems that need improvement and taking the lead on and implementing those changes. This is a great opportunity for those with a technical background to join a software engineering team to start their career.

Responsibilities:

  • Triage, Troubleshoot, and implement fixes to incoming requests to the engineering team.
  • Participate in code roasts and system testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to own a project with a high level of ambiguity from start to finish.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Familiarity with Typescript, React, AWS, Docker, and/or Node/Express is a plus.

  • 2 Way Communication flow from the CRM to the client based on client preferences (email, sms, push) and vice versa
