Yuma is developing the most advanced AI agent orchestration platform, dedicated to customer support and ecommerce. We are automating the heavy burden that large Shopify merchants face in their day-to-day activities. This market is vast and homogeneous, and every single merchant needs Yuma. We have a head start in this space, but we will not rest until we are the clear winner in the e-commerce customer support AI market.

Yuma was launched in early 2023 by a third-time YC founder and is already serving hundreds of paying customers.

Yuma is building a next-generation orchestration platform that deploys autonomous AI agents dedicated to customer support in e-commerce.
We already support 150+ paying merchants and help them automate up to 80% of their customer tickets freeing human agents for higher-value conversations.

Founded by Guillaume Luccisano (3rd-time YC founder) at the end of 2022, Yuma is one of the leaders in the AI Support Automation space with 10+ consecutive months of double-digit growth.

We are now a team of 25 passionate and ambitious people based between Paris, Barcelona and Boston and have grown revenue 5x in 2025. We aim to repeat this trajectory in 2026. The scale-up phase is fully underway. 🚀

About the role :

We’re looking for an ambitious and curious Sales Development Representative to join our growing team in Barcelona 🚀

You’ll be one of the first points of contact for some of Europe´s most exciting e-commerce brands , creating genuine connections and opening new business opportunities.

As part of our high-performing sales team , you’ll work hand-in-hand with our Account Executives to spark interest, build pipeline, and help Yuma AI keep growing at double-digit speed.

What you’ll do :

  • Identify, research, and reach out to key decision-makers
  • Generate new business opportunities through multi-channel outreach (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn).
  • Personalize your approach and build meaningful first conversations about AI-powered customer support.
  • Collaborate closely with AEs to qualify leads and schedule discovery meetings.
  • Become a product expert on Yuma AI’s platform and the future of customer service automation.
  • Use tools like HubSpot (CRM), Apollo , Sales Navigator to manage your pipeline and workflow.

What we’re looking for :

  • 6+ months experience in a B2B SDR or outbound sales role (SaaS experience is a plus).
  • Native level in English
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Energy, curiosity, and resilience : you love learning and don’t give up easily.
  • Strong organization and self-drive : you thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to boost productivity.
  • Track record of achieving sales metrics and necessary work ethic and attitude to achieve quota attainment, consistently

About your manager:

You’ll report to Louis Coussen, who’s spent almost 10 years in e-commerce and somehow managed to beat every target along the way. His style is pretty simple: solid sales basics, a lot of energy, and he treats every “no” like it’s just step one before a “yes.”

Outside of work, he’s the guy who always knows the best restaurants, never refuses a good beer, and will drag you into many padel games if you’re not careful. He’s also done multiple triathlons, but don’t worry, he won’t make you run one.

Technology

We have a Ruby on Rails API backend, which is coupled with Postgres, Redis, and Sidekiq. The frontend is built using React and NextJS. Our approach to LLMs is custom-made and tightly integrated with our backend. We have full introspection and logging for every API call we make.

Our approach is heavily product-first, but since we are addressing a problem with new technology, some of our work may be more research-oriented. We don't have all the answers yet on how to solve this problem, and we need to experiment and try out different approaches in a fast, iterative manner.

With already a hundred paying customers, we are already facing some interesting scaling challenges as well.
