We're starting with housing and hospitality, where communication is the operation. Leasing, onboarding, scheduling, retention—it all runs on conversations. Conduit is hiring an Account Executive to help scale our conversational AI platform across multiple industries. We need hustlers who can prospect, pitch, and close, while building playbooks for our growing team. What You’ll Do
Own the sales cycle end-to-end: Manage everything from initial outreach and discovery calls, to product demos, to negotiating and closing deals. You’ll handle both inbound inquiries and targeted outbound to fill your pipeline.
Customize pitches & demos: You’ll learn the ins and outs of a prospect’s business and configure demos or proposals that speak directly to their needs, quantifying ROI in terms that matter to them.
Build the sales engine: As an early sales hire, you’ll help refine our sales process and tools. Document what works, share insights with the team, and contribute to playbooks that will enable future AEs.
Represent Conduit externally: Attend industry events, trade shows, or webinars to network and generate leads.
Who You Are
Proven closer: You have 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales (ideally SaaS) with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota. You know how to take a deal from first call to signed contract, and you have stories of big wins under your belt.
Tenacious & self-driven: You take initiative in prospecting and don’t wait for leads to come to you. Cold calls, creative emails, LinkedIn outreach.
Great communicator & listener: You can run an engaging discovery call by asking the right questions, and you present solutions clearly and confidently. You adjust your style to your audience, whether it’s a tech-savvy operator or a non-technical business owner.
Domain interest: While not required, experience or interest in our focus industries (real estate/housing, hospitality, financial services) is a plus. At minimum, you’re eager to learn their pain points and speak their language.
Team-oriented: You want to win, but you also want the team to win. You’ll share prospect feedback, successful tactics, and cheer on your teammates. In a startup, everyone wears multiple hats – you’re willing to help others and step in wherever needed.
Thrives in startup pace: Ambiguity, rapid change, and big goals get you fired up.
Conduit is an in-person team based in San Francisco and works together in the office five days a week.
