Why are we building Akiflow?

In the last few years, we have seen tremendous changes in the way we work. The pandemic has disrupted the idea of a "traditional office" work environment, and many of us are now working in a "Hybrid office," combining remote work and office time. That's not the only significant shift in the workspace; in fact, not only did work environments change but so did the very nature of people's jobs. Knowledge workers nowadays spend a lot of time juggling various tasks, coming from everywhere - project management tools, email, chat apps, etc.

In a world where the boundaries between private life and work-life are thinner than ever, and the complexity of our jobs is higher than ever, effective planning has become an essential skill to help everyone use their time as efficiently as possible. We build Akiflow because we are firm believers that avoiding cognitive overload, distractions, overscheduling, and context switching is the key to staying productive and happy in the modern work environment.

About the role

We’re Akiflow—a fast-growing, fully remote productivity startup. We’re hiring a CMO to own brand strategy, performance marketing, and growth across channels.

Why This Role Is Unique

• You’ll define and execute Akiflow’s go‑to‑market strategy globally.
• You’re not just managing campaigns—you own brand, growth, and funnel performance.
• You’ll work directly with the Founders to scale brand equity, conversions, and retention.

What You’ll Own

• Craft and align brand strategy across positioning, messaging, and channel mix.
• End‑to‑end performance marketing: acquisition, lifecycle, retention—paid, owned, earned.
• Define metrics—LTV, CAC, conversion, retention—and build dashboards to measure success.
• Run experiments across copy, creative, channels, funnels, retention flows.
• Build, scale, and lead the marketing team as we grow.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in growth‑oriented B2C/SaaS marketing, ideally in productivity or high‑velocity startups.
• Proven ownership across brand, performance channels, funnel optimization, and retention.
• Analytical—comfortable with dashboards, cohort analysis, experimentation.
• Hands‑on, execution‑first leader: you roll up your sleeves and lead by example.
• Excellent collaboration: you align across product, design, ops, and leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication; clear, concise, and compelling.

We use ReactJS, Node, Typescript, ElectronJS for our frontend stack, and Php, Laravel, PostgreSQL, Docker for our backend component.
