Why are we building Akiflow?

In the last few years, we have seen tremendous changes in the way we work. The pandemic has disrupted the idea of a "traditional office" work environment, and many of us are now working in a "Hybrid office," combining remote work and office time. That's not the only significant shift in the workspace; in fact, not only did work environments change but so did the very nature of people's jobs. Knowledge workers nowadays spend a lot of time juggling various tasks, coming from everywhere - project management tools, email, chat apps, etc.

In a world where the boundaries between private life and work-life are thinner than ever, and the complexity of our jobs is higher than ever, effective planning has become an essential skill to help everyone use their time as efficiently as possible. We build Akiflow because we are firm believers that avoiding cognitive overload, distractions, overscheduling, and context switching is the key to staying productive and happy in the modern work environment.

About the role

We’re Akiflow, a fast-growing productivity startup on a mission to reduce cognitive overload and help people get more done—no context-switching required  . We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own product, drive strategy, and build features users love.

• Set the product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy.
• Define metrics and measure success with analytics and user feedback.
• Lead user research—talk to customers, identify pain points, and turn them into solutions.
• Prioritize ruthlessly: launch delightful features that amplify productivity and retention.
• Collaborate deeply with design and engineering to ship fast, iterate smarter.
• Mentor and grow your product team as we scale.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of product experience, with 2+ years owning B2C SaaS Apps
• Proven product sense—your past work should show successful feature launches and strong outcomes.
• Hands-on user research, experimentation, and data analysis.
• Exceptional communication: clear writing, concise presentations, and empathy for users.
• Bias toward action: shipping quickly, learning fast, iterating even faster.
• Passion for productivity, minimal distractions, and building tools that matter.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cross-device UX (e.g., mobile vs desktop).
• Familiarity with integrations (email, Slack, Notion, etc.).
• Remote work experience.

We use ReactJS, Node, Typescript, ElectronJS for our frontend stack, and Php, Laravel, PostgreSQL, Docker for our backend component.
