The Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead and scale our core engineering team. You will take charge of a talented group of 15+ engineers, acting as a pivotal leader responsible for their growth, delivery, and overall success. This is more than a management role; you are a strategic partner who will shape our engineering processes, make critical infrastructure decisions, and drive the team to a new level of velocity and excellence. 1. People Management & Leadership

• Lead and Mentor: Manage a team of 15 software engineers, providing regular coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback through 1:1s and performance reviews.

• Recruitment & Hiring: Actively participate in the hiring process to attract, recruit, and onboard top engineering talent that aligns with our company culture and technical needs.

1. Technical & Architectural Guidance:

• Technical Oversight: While not expected to be the primary coder, you will provide technical leadership and guidance on software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Code Quality: Uphold high standards for code quality, test coverage, and system performance through code reviews and the implementation of engineering best practices.
• Roadmap Contribution: Partner with senior engineers on your team to influence technology decisions and contribute to the long-term technical roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system design, and modern development practices.
• Experience scaling teams and systems in a high-growth environment.

We use a Typescript React frontend coupled with Flask backend hosted on AWS. We also provide our customers with embeddable web SDKs that they can integrate within a day.
