About the Role

Phonely is looking for our first Sales Development Lead to help scale our GTM engine. You’ll be on the front lines, finding and qualifying new opportunities, driving conversations with fast-growing businesses, and setting the pace for how we grow.

This is a foundational role. If you perform, you’ll be on track to become our first AE and build the next stage of our sales team alongside the founders.


What You’ll Do

  • Prospect smart. Use tools like Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Crunchbase to find and prioritize high-potential companies in our ICP—think companies with lots of inbound phone traffic and a need for automation.
  • Run multi-channel outbound. Emails, calls, DMs, events, intros—whatever works. Test new channels and share what’s working.
  • Own warm inbound. We get qualified leads from referrals and word of mouth. You’ll follow up fast, qualify clearly, and get meetings on the calendar.
  • Keep the CRM clean. No ghost leads. You’ll track everything so follow-ups never fall through the cracks.
  • Hit your numbers. Your core job is to drive pipeline. You’ll be expected to hit monthly targets for qualified meetings and opportunities created.
