Veryfi is a Series A fintech startup creating products that change the world, liberating users from manual data entry and all the inefficiencies associated with that. In this position, you will gain the experience working with a full, diverse marketing team and bring both product-focused and branded stories to life.

Job Description:

Content is built to enhance brand visibility, drive traffic, and generate conversions. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content marketing for an expansive tech industry.

As a Content Marketing Intern, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Marketing team in producing content, measuring effectiveness of the written and video content you produce, and identifying gaps in topics branded by the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Email Marketing: Support the email marketing efforts by helping to create email campaigns, drafting email copy, and segmenting email lists.
  • Video Editing: Generate creative marketing materials – including videos and social media reels, that promote our products and success stories.
  • Growth Strategy & Industry Research: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging topics to inform content strategy and create timely, relevant blog posts that drive organic growth.
  • Content Creation & SEO: Develop blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, and marketing materials while optimizing for search engines and user engagement.
  • Reporting: Develop reports on marketing activities, tracking key metrics like website traffic, conversion rates, and ROI across all channels.
  • Research and Trends: Stay updated on digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. As well as, conduct research on industry competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for gaining conversions and revenue through your content production.

Your Skills:

  • Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Highly organized and collaborative, with a proven ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work
  • Solid understanding of social media strategy and core marketing principles
  • SEO Knowledge and experience with working SEO tools - Keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO basics
  • Content Management Systems - WordPress, HubSpot, or similar platforms
  • Analytics Tools - Google Analytics (preferred), Google Search Console, social media analytics

Digital portfolio or strong examples showcasing previous work is required.

Our HQ is located in San Mateo, CA.This role entails a commitment of at least 15 hours per week.

(a) Native Mobile apps: Swift, Objective-C & Kotlin

(b) Backend: Python 3, TensorFlow, APIs on Django, Hub/Web on Flask
