Arketa is shaping the future of the fitness + wellness industry. Arketa is an all-in-1 business platform designed to run and grow modern fitness businesses - from individual instructors to multi-location studios. Our intuitive platform brings together everything fitness entrepreneurs need in one place, from scheduling classes and managing payments to selling on-demand content.
Arketa was built by fitness industry experts who understand what it takes to succeed in this space. Our team is dedicated to creating tools that make running a fitness business easier, not harder.
Arketa is building the operating system for modern fitness and wellness. Our mission is to make wellness more accessible by empowering studios and wellness entrepreneurs to grow beyond in-person classes. We provide a powerful, all-in-one platform to manage and scale hybrid wellness businesses—whether online, in-person, or both.
With Arketa, users can easily manage schedules, accept bookings and payments, build on-demand video libraries, host retreats, and run marketing campaigns via text and email. We also offer fully branded apps and websites, so studios can deliver a seamless, professional experience across every customer touchpoint.
We’ve raised $6M in seed funding from First Round Capital and are growing quickly. It’s a unique moment to join us—we’re building a category-defining company in a fast-moving space, and we’re looking for teammates who are excited to help shape the future of wellness.
The Role:
We’re hiring a Strategy & Operations partner to work directly with our CEO during a critical stage of growth. This is a high-impact role designed for someone early in their career who wants a front-row seat to how a startup scales.
This role is perfect for someone who can flex across functions — one day you’re helping shape headcount strategy, the next you’re building a financial model. You’ll be trusted to take on meaningful work that drives the business forward, fast.
What You’ll Do:
Act as a strategic right hand to our CEO, supporting her across finance, recruiting, and company operations
Build and manage reporting tools and dashboards (headcount, financial planning)
Help drive strategic planning, team OKRs, and cross-functional priorities
Identify operational gaps and implement scalable systems and processes
Support financial workflows — budget tracking, vendor management, and planning cycles
Work cross-functionally with team leads across sales, product, and engineering
Serve as a trusted utility player: stepping in wherever there’s a need
What We’re Looking For:
1–2 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or a high-growth startup
Bonus: prior experience in a Chief of Staff, BizOps, or Strategy & Ops role
Analytical and systems-oriented — comfortable with spreadsheets, models, and metrics
Exceptionally organized and reliable, with a high bar for quality
Able to manage up, down, and across with strong written and verbal communication
Excited by a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where you’re empowered to figure things out
Located in NYC and willing to commute into our office 3 days per week
What We Offer:
Competitive Salary, Stock Options, and Performance-based Bonuses
Comprehensive Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance
Unlimited PTO
Annual Company Offsites
Wellness Reimbursement
Catered Lunches/Snacks
Ownership and Opportunity for Advancement
For this role, the estimated annual base salary range is $130,000–$160,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, we offer equity and performance-based bonuses as part of our total compensation package. We believe in compensating fairly and transparently, and we’re happy to provide more detail during the interview process.
Arketa is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity in its workforce. We actively encourage applications from all qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. We believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters innovation and creativity, and we welcome candidates who share our values of respect, collaboration, and excellence.
