  • Answer Questions on Databases: connect GPT-like models to databases (such as Notion, Airtable, or Postgres) and ask questions about them.

About the role

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to spearhead our startup's growth. This pivotal role involves leading prospecting and outreach efforts. As one of our first non-engineering hires, you will be key in shaping and executing our growth strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Prospecting: Identify and engage potential clients through strategic outreach initiatives (LinkedIn, Cold Calling, Events, Conferences, etc).
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture connections with key decision-makers, including executives, directors, and procurement teams.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content such as case studies showcasing customer success, product tour videos, tutorials, and targeted email campaigns to communicate the benefits of our AI solutions effectively.

About You

  • Experience: You have 3+ years in business development or sales roles, ideally within B2B SaaS or AI technology sectors. You have a proven track record of successfully prospecting and closing deals with large enterprises and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Technical Proficiency: You are comfortable with the technical aspects of Generative AI and can translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Creative and Proactive: You are a self-starter with a talent for innovative problem-solving and project management, capable of juggling multiple initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Networking Prowess: You possess a strong network within Fortune 500 companies and can build new relationships quickly.
Technology

Our tech stack includes:

  • Frontend: Next.js + Tailwind (Typescript)
  • Backend: FastAPI + Supabase (Python)
  • Databases: PostgreSQL + MongoDB

And we have internally built a super easy-to-use Machine Learning framework tailored to using Large Language Models in a flow-like sequence (akin to Pytorch + Langchain if you are familiar with those). It allows you to seamlessly integrate new functionality into the code base and we are also discussing whether to open-source it since it feels like magic!
