DreamWorld is the massive digital world where everyone creates together. Think Minecraft or Roblox, except one immersive social world.

Look at the software that has fundamentally changed how people live: Search (Google), Social Networks (Facebook), Ecommerce (Amazon). Now think of what will come in the next 25. One of these monumental shifts will be the pervasiveness of the Digital World, and it is our goal to create it.

We believe this Digital World will rise out of the medium that's had the seeds of it for a while, Gaming. So, we are building a massive Sandbox MMO, with the game focused on User Creation and Socializing. You can think of our initial goal as creating a successor to Minecraft and World of Warcraft.

We're looking for great intern teammates that are willing to dive in, work hard, and learn. This is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about UI design and seeking hands-on experience in a dynamic, collaborative, and creative environment. This is a 6+ month program.

You would be responsible for setting our 2D art direction, designing the visuals of our website, and all HUDs in-game. Your role will include close collaboration with artists, game designers, and engineers.

Responsibilities:

• All aspects of UI design within DreamWorld
• Establishing the style guide for the game interface and influencing art style direction
• Designing wireframes for in-game and website interfaces as well as the visuals around them.
• Taking the game interface style and website content and creating other marketing materials in that style

Skills and Qualifications:

• Passion for video games and deep knowledge in the field, with the ability to identify and implement best industry practices
• Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Animate, XD, and Illustrator)
• Experience with digital content creation packages (e.g., Figma, Maya)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and address potential UI issues during the design stage
• Excellent command of English, with the ability to clearly present your ideas
• Desire to take a hands-on role in shaping the artistic vision, product design, and future growth of a start-up company

• Unreal implementation
• Motion Graphics
• 3D Modeling in Blender
• Commercial experience in web, media, entertainment, e-commerce, or industrial sectors
