This position is based in San Francisco.

What you could be doing…

• Conducting profile reviews and due diligence for companies raising on Wefunder
• Answering legal questions from the team based on existing regulations
• Researching new crowdfunding laws and analyzing their impact on our business
• Supporting product development in legal-related areas
• Drafting legal-related content such as blog posts, FAQs, and articles
• Jumping in wherever the team needs

Here are some things we think are important…

• You're enrolled or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
• You live in the Bay Area or can move here for the duration of your internship.
• Founder mindset. We want people who are able to tackle difficult problems on their own and proactively look for new ways to improve Wefunder. In other words: You can just figure it out.
• Learn quickly. There are tons of details to learn; securities regulations are quite complex and things change fast around here. You must be able to absorb and retain a lot of facts quickly.
• Organization and attention to detail. It's important that no balls get dropped when dealing with multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Strong people skills. You should have a talent for making people feel instantly comfortable, heard, and understood.
• Responsible & accountable. If you say you will do it, you do it.
