Job Overview:

Are you a creative and innovative individual with a passion for Human Resources? Cityfurnish is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Human Resources Intern to join our HR team and gain hands-on exposure across core HR functions. This role will help you understand the complete employee lifecycle—from hiring to onboarding, engagement, learning & development, and exits—while contributing to a fast-growing organization.

What will you do?:

1. Recruitment & Hiring Support

  • Assist in posting job openings on various job portals and company platforms.
  • Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
  • Coordinate interview schedules with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain candidate data and hiring trackers.
  • Support offer rollout and pre-joining communication with selected candidates.
  1. Employee Onboarding & Induction
  • Prepare and manage onboarding documents and joining formalities.
  • Coordinate and support induction sessions for new joiners.
  • Ensure completion of joining formalities such as KYC, forms, and system access.
  • Update employee details in HRMS and maintain onboarding records.
  • Act as the first point of contact for new employees during their initial days.
  1. Learning & Development (L&D)
  • Assist in organizing internal training programs and workshops.
  • Track training attendance and maintain L&D records.
  • Coordinate with trainers and teams for learning initiatives.
  • Support creation of basic training materials and feedback forms.

4. Employee Engagement

  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
  • Support implementation of reward and recognition initiatives.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging work culture.
  • Help gather feedback through surveys and informal check-ins.

5. Exit Formalities & Offboarding

  • Assist in coordinating employee exit processes and documentation.
  • Support full and final settlement coordination with relevant teams.
  • Collect exit feedback and maintain exit records.
  • Ensure smooth handover and closure of employee access.

6. HR Data & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate employee data in HRMS/HRIS.
  • Prepare basic HR reports related to hiring, attrition, and onboarding.
  • Support the HR team with documentation and compliance-related records.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A creative and proactive mindset with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
  • Basic understanding or interest in HR functions.
  • 0–6 months of prior internship experience in HR or a related field is a plus.
