We need someone who can sell. Not "manage a pipeline" or "support the GTM function." Actually sell. Pick up the phone, get in front of decision-makers, close six-figure deals, and help us build an entire sales machine from zero.
You'll be the first dedicated GTM hire at a company backed by Y Combinator, 20VC, and Fly Ventures. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founders. You'll have real equity. And if you're good, you'll be running the team you built within a year.
This is the role people look back on as the one that changed everything.
Every Fortune 500 company spends tens of millions a year on outsourced back-office work: data entry, claims processing, invoice handling, reconciliation. Thousands of people doing repetitive tasks on computers, often offshore.
We replace all of that with AI agents.
Not copilots. Not dashboards. Full replacement. Our agents open applications, click through workflows, read documents, and complete tasks end-to-end, exactly the way a human would, but 24/7, with zero errors, at a fraction of the cost.
What makes this real:
We're a small team based in San Francisco. The window to join as a founding member is closing.
Hunt and close deals. This is not a "nurture leads and pass them to an AE" role. You own the full cycle: find the prospect, get the meeting, run the demo, build the business case, negotiate the contract, close the deal.
Build outbound from scratch. Cold calls, cold emails, LinkedIn, conferences, warm intros. You'll figure out what works, then systematize it. No playbook exists yet. You're writing it.
Run discovery and demos. Understand how target companies run their operations, where the pain is, and position Clicks as the obvious solution. Build ROI cases that make the decision easy.
Onboard customers. You don't just close and disappear. You make sure customers go live, see value, and expand.
Shape the product. You're in the field every day hearing what matters. You'll feed that directly to product and engineering. What you learn will determine what we build next.
Build the GTM org. As we scale, you'll hire and lead the team underneath you. This is a leadership trajectory, not a career plateau.
Must-haves:
Strong signals:
Most sales roles at startups come with a deck, a CRM full of leads, and a manager telling you what to do. This is the opposite. You'll have founders who care deeply about GTM, a product that sells itself once people see it, and the freedom to build something that didn't exist before you showed up.
The trade-off is that it's hard. You'll hear "no" a lot. You'll be figuring things out in real time. Some weeks will be a grind.
But if you're the kind of person who thrives on that, who wants to look back in five years and say "I built that," this is the role.
