Nox Metals is building the fastest raw metal supplier in America. We start with custom-cut aluminum blocks for CNC machining and use software and automation to cut lead times from days to seconds.
We’re a small, ambitious team based in Detroit. If you want to write code that moves real things, build industrial infrastructure, and solve hard supply chain problems, you'll fit right in.

Nox Metals is building the fastest raw material supplier in America.
Starting with steel tube and aluminum plate, we combine modern software with factory automation to speed up quoting, processing, and shipping. Backed by Y Combinator, we are rethinking how metals move through the industrial supply chain.
This is the second software engineering hire at Nox Metals. You will work directly with the founders to build core systems that power our factory operations.
Factories often wait hours or days for raw material quotes. Our goal is five seconds.
Every second saved on quoting and cutting speeds up downstream production across America’s industrial base. Faster metal supply means faster manufacturing.
At Nox Metals, we build software that controls how metal moves through a factory. Quoting, scheduling, cutting, and shipping are all handled through code. We use AI to automate repetitive tasks like cut planning, inventory picking, and quality checks to turn hours of manual work into seconds.
Our stack includes React, Next.js, Python, Firebase, and Supabase. We also work with CAD tools and optimization logic. You’ll build tools that directly impact real-world operations and help manufacturers get metal faster.
