Yuma is developing the most advanced AI agent orchestration platform, dedicated to customer support and ecommerce. We are automating the heavy burden that large Shopify merchants face in their day-to-day activities. This market is vast and homogeneous, and every single merchant needs Yuma. We have a head start in this space, but we will not rest until we are the clear winner in the e-commerce customer support AI market.

Yuma was launched in early 2023 by a third-time YC founder and is already serving hundreds of paying customers.

About Yuma AI:

Yuma is building a complete orchestration platform that deploys autonomous AI agents dedicated to customer support in e-commerce. We are one of the leaders in this space and we offer one of the most advanced platforms to date, supporting over 100 paying customers. Our agents replicate human capabilities by taking actions and retrieving information from external services as needed.

Our top merchants automate over 80% of their support tickets through Yuma.

Yuma was founded by Guillaume Luccisano, a 3rd time YC founder, and now boasts a team of 20 highly dedicated, talented people driven to deliver the best value to our customers through AI.

Position Overview

As SaaS Account Executive for the European market, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our presence and driving revenue growth in the region. You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and executing strategic sales initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the first person on the ground, shaping our market strategy and driving success in a dynamic and unstructured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Development: Lead the expansion efforts into the European market by identifying target verticals, and key accounts for strategic partnership and growth.

Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the European market, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing the entire sales cycle.

Client Acquisition: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their unique needs and pain points to position our solution effectively.

Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed sales targets by driving revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and securing long-term contracts with clients.

Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and customer success to ensure alignment and deliver exceptional value to clients.

Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline management, and client interactions using CRM software. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably within SaaS or e-Commerce.

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset, comfortable working autonomously and thriving in an unstructured environment.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.

  • High leverage of AI tools is mandatory.

  • English is mandatory.

OTE €28,000 - €45,000 a year + equity

For compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across EU locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Technology

We have a Ruby on Rails API backend, which is coupled with Postgres, Redis, and Sidekiq. The frontend is built using React and NextJS. Our approach to LLMs is custom-made and tightly integrated with our backend. We have full introspection and logging for every API call we make.

Our approach is heavily product-first, but since we are addressing a problem with new technology, some of our work may be more research-oriented. We don't have all the answers yet on how to solve this problem, and we need to experiment and try out different approaches in a fast, iterative manner.

With already a hundred paying customers, we are already facing some interesting scaling challenges as well.
