Parahelp is an AI support agent that automates support tickets end-to-end at scale - built for software companies.

To do this, Parahelp learns from a company's best support agents and integrates deeply with their existing infrastructure, including systems such as Zendesk, Stripe, Retool, Slack, and Linear.

We're building Parahelp because we believe context—not intelligence—will be the primary bottleneck for AI agents automating high-impact work in the future.

Our current focus: Building an AI support agent that can automate highly complex support tickets end-to-end.

Our mission: Build AI agents that leverage context from customer conversations to automate high-impact work across support, success, product, and engineering.

About the role

TL;DR:

As our first Founding Account Executive, you'll help software companies understand the opportunities for (and impact of) automating support tickets end-to-end with Parahelp.

You'll own entire sales cycles, work with forward deployed engineers on POCs, and use your learnings to help build the sales playbook at Parahelp.

What you’ll do:

  • Find and reach out to companies that match our ICP.
  • Qualify companies by deeply understanding their customer support function and needs.
  • Collaborate with forward deployed engineers to identify automation opportunities for companies.
  • Demo high-impact automation opportunities for companies.
  • Think creatively to close deals.

You might be a fit if:

  • You have 3+ years of experience in sales at high-growth startups.
  • You’re excited about our mission of automating high-impact work for software companies.
  • You have owned entire sales cycles and closed enterprise deals.
  • You have great verbal and written communication skills and can break down complex topics into clear and simple terms.
  • You use AI in your daily work.

Compensation:

Base salary: $130-160K

Commission: Equal share of the customer revenue commission pool (divided among all account executives and forward deployed engineers).

  4. Final onsite (3 hours)
