What you’ll do

We’re looking for a senior software engineer (employee #5) who takes pride in their work and ships to join us in San Francisco to build great software together.

Some things you’ll work on:

• Build new features end-to-end, everything from database models to API endpoints and UI components for our web (React), desktop (Electron), and mobile apps (React Native)
• Design and architect new systems while raising the code quality bar for other engineers on the team
• Drive product experience decisions and collaborate closely on product strategy and user experience
• Improve product foundations (AI-powered outcomes, search, transcription, on-device recording/streaming, app and API performance, automations, and other new initiatives)

Who you are

You have experience doing the above in previous roles, take pride in your work, value urgency and ownership, and find building exceptional software fun.

We expect someone in this role to own both architectural and product decisions, so you'll need strong product sense, high attention to detail, curiosity about how great products work, and the ability to mentor other engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
