About the role

Role Overview

We’re looking for an Revenue Operations Analyst who brings clarity, structure, and a systems-oriented mindset to our growing team. The right person is energized by solving problems, improving how things work, and making data more useful and accessible for others. They’re naturally curious, proactive, and take pride in creating processes that are not only efficient but scalable. This is someone who enjoys thinking a few steps ahead, thrives in dynamic environments, and communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical teammates. If you’re the kind of person who loves building dashboards, automating workflows, or organizing information so it’s easy to use and understand, you’ll thrive in this role.

What You’ll Do

  • Data Management: Maintain our Salesforce database through data entry and consolidation, ensuring data accuracy and completeness on a timely schedule. You will ensure our back end operations run smoothly by maintaining account, contract, and pilot data.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data to provide actionable insights for business decisions and operational performance. Create business recommendations based on your findings. Create Salesforce reports to support BDRs and AEs, monitor performance and activities.
  • Operational Improvements: Identify and implement improvements to workflow bottlenecks to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Team Enablement: Onboard new team members with processes to ensure data quality. Create educational materials (record tutorials, run walkthroughs/trainings) and set expectations for new hires.
  • Process Automation: Identify opportunities to automate and scale processes, including automating reporting for tracking key business metrics.
  • SOP Development: Develop and refine processes and policies to turn successful initiatives into sustainable practices. Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaboration: Build strong relationships across teams. Participate in team meetings across sales, marketing, and customer success teams to brainstorm ideas and suggest process improvements.
  • By 30 Days:
    • Learn all about our sales and marketing tech stack (Salesforce, Apollo, SalesNav, Hockeystick)
    • Deep-dive into the nuances of our sales data on Salesforce
    • Create your first Salesforce reports and dashboards for the team
  • By 90 Days:
    • Implement Marketing Campaign tracking and monitor follow-through
    • Become the go-to point of contact for questions about our tech stack
    • Own all lead, contact, account, opportunity, and contract data
    • Learn about implementing integrations and automations to create more efficient workflows
  • By one year:
    • Created standard operating procedures for ramping up new hires, how leads are handed off from marketing, measuring sales email and meeting efficacy, and monitoring sales cycles across customer types
    • Implemented at least one integration or automation that creates a meaningful improvement in how we operate as a team

Who You Are

  • 1-3 years of experience in fast-paced environments (startups, consulting, etc.).
  • Strong organization, time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and curious with a desire to understand how teams, software, and processes function.
  • Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment; a “no task is too small” attitude is essential.
  • Passionate attention to detail, working both meticulously and quickly.
  • Systematic, structured, analytical, process-oriented thinker with strong problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to tackle ambiguous challenges autonomously; you come to us with hypotheses and potential solutions when you find a problem.
  • Excellent communicator, able to explain complex ideas and ambiguous problems clearly.
  • Ownership mentality, taking responsibility for issues and driving their resolution.
  • Team player who is excited to collaborate across teams.

Bonus if:

  • Experience at a high growth start-up, especially B2B SaaS
  • You’ve used Salesforce in a prior role (Salesforce admin is an additional bonus)
  • You have a technical degree
  • You’re based in Toronto, or in NYC and are willing to work in-person at our Williamsburg office
  • You’re familiar with Zapier, Make, or other automation and data tools
  • You’re familiar with coding and standard coding concepts like loops, arrays, etc
  • You have proficiency in SQL/Tableau/Looker

We have plenty of challenges at all levels of the stack, from the nuts and bolts of designing a processing back-end engine, VM infrastructure and NLP all the way up to building beautiful web technology.
