About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and versatile WordPress Developer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in building, customizing, and managing dynamic WordPress websites. This role demands a strong grasp of both front-end and back-end development, with deep expertise in core WordPress functions, custom themes, and plugin development. You’ll be responsible for creating pixel-perfect, high-performance websites that align with business goals.

What You’ll DO:

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites from scratch or based on designs/mockups.
• Customize and build WordPress themes and plugins as per requirements.
• Implement custom post types, taxonomies, short codes, and advanced ACF fields.
• Work on WordPress core functions, hooks, filters, and template hierarchy.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, bugs, and optimize website performance.
• Ensure site security, regular updates, and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, marketers, and content creators.
• Manage website migrations, backups, and deployments.
• Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs, and tools as needed.

What You’ll Require:

• 3–5 years of professional experience with WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Deep understanding of WordPress core, custom themes, and plugin architecture.
• Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or other modern page builders.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, AJAX, and API integrations.
• Familiarity with tools like Git, Bitbucket, and deployment workflows.
• Understanding of SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred (Good to Have):

• Experience with WordPress, LMS platforms, or multisite environments.
• Knowledge of headless WordPress, JAMstack, or static site generation.
• Familiarity with website performance optimization and tools like GTmetrix or Google Lighthouse.
• Awareness of security plugins and hardening WordPress installations.
