As part of the next generation of AI-driven customer research, Outset is building intuitive and responsive frontend applications that empower teams to truly understand their users. By addressing the complexities of real-time data streaming, visualization, and user interaction, Outset enables companies to accelerate product development, improve user satisfaction, and drive smarter strategic decisions.

What you will do:

• Collaborate closely with the CTO and CEO on strategic technical decisions and product direction.

• Design, develop, and optimize intuitive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using React and Next.js.

• Build robust and responsive components that seamlessly integrate with backend services and APIs.

• Enhance user experiences through real-time data visualization and interaction.

• Lead frontend projects from initial conception through production deployment, ensuring scalability, responsiveness, and reliability.

• Interface directly with users to gather feedback, understand pain points, and continuously improve our product's UI/UX.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience building production-grade frontend systems.

• Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

• Experience building scalable, responsive web applications.

• Familiarity integrating frontend applications with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.

• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.

Bonus points for familiarity with real-time data visualization, WebRTC, or frontend performance optimization.

Compensation:

The cash compensation range for this role is $140,000 - $210,000.

Actual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, and certifications. In addition to cash compensation, all full-time employees receive an equity compensation package.
