🤝 Your Skillset – What you bring to the table

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role, with at least 2 years of experience managing high-performing technical teams

• Strong technical background with expertise in software development, system architecture, and best practices

• Experience working in a startup environment at a similar growth stage

• Experience with agile methodologies, project management, and delivery processes

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to build strong relationships across teams and stakeholders

• Ability to drive technical strategy and align it with business goals

• Hands-on experience with modern development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing developer workflows

• A passion for mentoring , coaching, and developing talent in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Experience in working with cross-functional teams , including Product, Data, ML, and Research

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to identify and mitigate risks proactively

• Fluent in German (C1) and English (C1) to effectively engage with our teams

Challenges We run our ASR/NLP models locally on smartphones. Models need to be resource-efficient yet really accurate. With every user interaction data is generated and used for model improvements. This data needs to be processed continuously, automatically quality-assured and used for new model training.

We deploy into production on average every 6h and release updated machine learning models several times a week.
