Role Overview

We're seeking a Perception Engineer to join our core team and help shape our technology, architecture, and culture from the ground up. As one of our first technical hires, you'll work across the entire robotics stack to define the future of AI-driven defect detection in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Optimize AI inference on embedded hardware (Jetson, CUDA, TensorRT).
• Integrate cameras, sensors, and edge AI models into robotic systems.
• Develop real-time perception algorithms for object detection & tracking.
• Work closely with ML engineers to deploy vision models at the edge.
• Design and implement low-latency, high-performance robotics software.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on robotics, AI, or computer vision
• Proficiency in Python
• Deep understanding of computer vision and machine learning
• Experience working with Jetson, TensorRT, or other AI accelerators.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CUDA and the Nvidia Jetson platform
• Experience implementing object detection, tracking, and pose estimation models
• Experience with reinforcement learning
• Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time computing
