We make it easy for local businesses to invoice their customers over WhatsApp. With Swipe, businesses can send a WhatsApp message with a link that allows their customers to pay instantly with a variety of payment methods. Since our inception in January 2021, we have been backed by YCombinator and top-tier VCs and Angel Investors from Silicon Valley and India. We're seeking passionate engineers to join our team and assist with developing and maintaining our software products. The ideal candidate should have a passion for programming, be eager to learn, and be able to work in a team environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

As an early-stage member of the team, some of your responsibilities will include:

Working closely with founders to develop and maintain the backend and build product features rapidly. Participating in code reviews, testing, and bug fixing. Identifying and driving innovative solutions to address the most critical needs of our customers. Working in close collaboration with cross-functional partners in design and front-end functions. Building cost-effective and scalable systems. Contributing to product development by pitching in with ideas and doing proofs-of-concept.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

Strong programming skills in one or more of the following languages: ReactJs, Python, MySQL Familiarity with version control tools such as Git Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Experience with open-source software development is a bonus.
