Our goal is to empower local government employees with the tools, technology, and support they need so they can deliver exceptional service to their taxpayers and feel proud of the work they do for their communities. We contribute by building software to streamline local government tax assessors’ workflows using AI. Specifically, we streamline the change of ownership process for real estate and create more seamless ways for tax offices to communicate digitally with their taxpayers.

For instance, when properties get bought and sold, local governments have to process reams of paper in order to update their systems and perform the analyses necessary to update the tax roll. Our software makes this process 10x faster and much more enjoyable for employees in the tax office to complete, and creates trust and goodwill in the minds of taxpayers.

Junior Account Executive

Just Appraised is modernizing local government processes related to real estate and property taxes. Our cutting-edge, AI-powered software, which leverages Natural Language Processing (NLP), replaces manual data entry to eliminate delays, backlogs, and errors. With hundreds of government entities across the United States relying on us, your work will directly help drive essential revenues and provide critical services to society.

Join a high-growth, YC-backed, and fully remote startup. We are looking for a motivated Junior Account Executive to join our expanding Sales team. This is a full-time, salaried position.

What You Will Work On

  • Own the Sales Cycle: Engage in outbound prospecting, primarily through cold calls from leads generated through our BDR team, targeting local government entities.
  • Solve Real Problems: Conduct discovery calls to deeply understand prospect challenges and demonstrate how our customized software provides effective solutions.
  • Close Business: Create persuasive proposals that clearly demonstrate our product's impact, driving deals to a successful conclusion.
  • Collaborate: Coordinate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the sales process.
  • Drive Engagement: Support and drive attendance to various marketing events, including conferences, trade shows, and webinars.
  • Achieve Goals: Meet or exceed established sales targets and activity metrics.
  • Manage Pipeline: Accurately track and update the sales funnel using a CRM.
  • Shape Strategy: Contribute to and execute the company's overall sales strategy as we scale.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience:
  • 2+ years of overall Software Sales experience.
    • 1+ years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience in a new business/closing role, with a preference for experience in the public sector.
  • Skills & Mindset:
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to actively listen and communicate with empathy (EQ > IQ).
    • Work Ethic: Adaptable, professional, highly motivated, and possesses a strong work ethic.
    • Autonomy & Teamwork: A self-starter who can work independently while also collaborating seamlessly within a small team environment.
    • Execution: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an efficient approach to time management and a focus on clear goals.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to twice a month (approximately 40% travel annually) for events and client meetings.

The pay range for this role is:

120,000 - 140,000 USD per year (United States (OTE, 50/50 Split))
