The Role
We’re looking for a rockstar Senior Product Engineer to help drive Goodfin’s core product forward during a critical phase of growth. This is a hands-on builder role for someone who obsesses about the user experience and thrives at the intersection of product thinking and engineering execution.

You’ll work closely with the CEO, design, and AI engineers to ship meaningful features quickly, improve system reliability, and turn ambiguous product ideas into production-ready experiences. This is not a management role—it’s about ownership, judgment, and getting things done.

What You’ll Do

• Build and ship end-to-end product features across frontend and backend surfaces
• Partner closely with business and design to translate user needs into clear technical execution
• Work directly with Goodfin Go workflows, integrating AI-powered reasoning and decision support into the product
• Own key parts of the codebase and improve architecture, performance, and reliability while continuing to ship fast
• Collaborate across mobile, backend, and AI systems to deliver cohesive user experiences
• Make pragmatic technical decisions in a fast-moving environment with real users and real financial outcomes

You Might Be a Fit If You

• Care deeply about how users experience products and whether they are delightful, intuitive and engaging
• Have 5 or more years of hands-on engineering experience shipping real products
• Think like a product owner but execute like an engineer
• Are comfortable owning ambiguous problems and driving them to completion
• Have experience working closely with designers, founders, or small teams
• Care deeply about quality, user trust, and correctness—especially in high-stakes domains like finance
• Prefer building over managing, and impact over titles
