Our mission is to help everybody in an organization to take data-driven decisions. We do that by allowing data teams to train an AI assistant on their company data, so users can chat with their business data in Slack, Teams or a web interface.

As a Forward Deployed Enablement Engineer, you’ll sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer success. You’ll work directly with customers to make Dot successful in real environments: diagnose issues, unblock users and data teams, build lightweight tooling/workarounds, and feed the learnings back into the product so we can scale enablement across all customers.

This is not a data pipeline role. It’s a highly technical, customer-facing role focused on making Dot work reliably and quickly for real AI analytics workflows.

In this role, you will

• Work on SOTA AI systems to create the future of analytics
• Be an early member of the team with significant influence on both the product and the company
• Respond to and triage incoming support requests from both internal and external teams
• Provide guidance to customer engineers and unblock their workflows
• Take ownership as the first responder when things go wrong. Even if a problem is outside your area of expertise, you make the first move to fix it and pull in the necessary expertise to get the job done
• "Make things work" in difficult and fuzzy environments including tackling challenges in deployment, integration, networking, security, and user experience.
• Have a significant equity stake in the company and own results of your work

You may be a fit for this role if you

• Have a couple of years of data engineering or software development experience
• Have tinkered with building an AI agent or LLM workflow
• Care deeply about users and want to help them solve their problems
• Prefer a calm, asynchronous, work style that gives you time and space to focus
• Want to work with people who are invested in your growth
• Take pride in shipping great work fast and find joy in seeing it used
• Are able to unblock yourself (e.g. by writing some front-end code)
• Have experience or a strong demonstrated interest in data analytics and LLMs
• Love learning and stepping-out-of-your-comfort-zone
