Clad is project management software purpose-built for infrastructure.

The world is rebuilding its internet and power infrastructure, accelerated by demand from AI and the shift to renewables. 

The utilities, internet companies, and contractors tasked with this work are struggling to meet this demand.

We’re building the AI-native operating system to help these companies build faster. Clad unifies operations and finance to automate project tracking, payments, and permitting. 

With Clad, contractors grow faster and improve their margins. Operators execute smoothly. And everyone can focus on what’s most important - building.

We’re a small team of 5, have >$1M ARR, raised $2.7M with years of runway, and are just getting started.

About the role

You’ll join Clad as our first business hire.

You will own post-sales and internal operations.

  1. Customer Success [75%] - Own implementation and customer success. Your goal will be to make sure every customer gets meaningful value from Clad.
  2. Chief of Staff / Internal Ops [25%] - Help Clad run more effectively. You’ll support different functions as needed - in the first few months, you’ll likely focus on GTM - RevOps and sales enablement.

This is not a normal operations or customer success role.

The scope of this role is constrained solely by your energy and ambition. At a minimum, you’ll work hand-in-hand with customers to help them adopt Clad well. But where you take it from there is up to you.

  1. Velocity - You move quickly, and thoughtfully in the right direction. You are detail-oriented and willing to do the hard work that needs to get done, even if it isn’t always easy or glamorous. 
  2. Earnestness - We believe that deeply caring about your work, and trying your hardest, is a fundamental requirement for success. You should too.
  3. Lightly Technical - You aren’t afraid to pick up new skills or tools to automate your work. This can be editing a database with SQL, writing a Python script, or vibe-coding mini internal apps.
  4. Product & Business Sense - You’ll be interacting with customers all the time. You should be consultative and smart - able to deeply understand peoples’ needs and figure out how to solve them.

More tactically - 

  1. Experience - You have 2+ years of work experience
  2. Background - You may come from a consulting, investment banking, startup operations, or customer success background. You’re comfortable with working with clients to affect change
  3. Location - You’ll be in-person in our office in NYC
