Global brands like Hubspot, Microsoft, Uber and Nestle use Outset to achieve deeper, qualitative insights about their users at unprecedented speed and scale.

The research industry is massive (>$140B and growing) and ripe for disruption. Incumbents are outdated, slow, and burdened by high-cost services. That's our opportunity.

We are located in the heart of San Francisco’s Financial District. We are a tight-knit team of 25 serving some of the world's largest enterprise customers.

As a Technical Sourcer, you’ll partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to identify, engage, and attract top talent. You’ll build thoughtful sourcing strategies, nurture passive candidates, and ensure every interaction reflects our culture and values. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that directly impacts the growth of our company.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand technical and non technical roles and priorities

  • Proactively source, engage, and screen candidates using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Github, and other platforms

  • Build and maintain strong, diverse talent pipelines for key functions

  • Develop creative strategies for reaching passive talent and delivering an exceptional candidate experience

  • Track metrics and leverage data to continuously improve sourcing effectiveness

  • Promote our employer brand through consistent, authentic outreach and storytelling

  • Stay current on market trends, competitive intelligence, and sourcing best practices

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of sourcing experience in a technical recruiting environment

  • Strong understanding of technical and non technical roles

  • Proven ability to creatively identify and engage passive candidates

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiency with sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems - ideally Ashby, Juicebox, LinkedIn Recruiter

Actual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.
