Skills: Go, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQLAbout Assembly
Assembly is building the next-generation post-sales platform for B2B companies. Customer Success and post-sales teams rely on Assembly to unify data from dozens of tools, proactively surface risks and opportunities, and power agentic workflows that drive retention and expansion.
With Assembly, companies can finally move beyond reactive account management—our AI-powered platform helps CSMs catch signals before they become churn, automates onboarding milestones, and turns scattered systems into a single source of truth.
We’re backed by Y Combinator and leading investors, and already powering post-sales operations for fast-growing companies across fintech, SaaS, and enterprise software. Our team is small but ambitious—join us to help define the future of customer success infrastructure.
About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Assembly, you’ll be shipping products from 0 → 1 and owning them in production. We’re a customer-obsessed team, so you won’t just write code—you’ll talk to customers, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.
This isn’t a narrow role: you’ll often be the sole architect, designer, and engineer on systems across our stack. From backend data pipelines to customer-facing interfaces, you’ll own the full lifecycle—shipping fast and keeping quality high.
What You’ll Do
- Ship features and products end-to-end, from design → implementation → release → maintenance
- Talk directly with customers, incorporating their feedback into the product
- Design and build distributed systems that scale with millions of data events
- Collaborate with founders and a global team, making product and technical decisions daily
- Continuously improve what you ship: better performance, cleaner UX, tighter integrations
Technical Must-Haves
- High-level proficiency in Go, TypeScript, Python, Java, or C/C++
- Strong experience designing and working on distributed systems
- Ability to translate product requirements into production-ready code independently
Brownie Points (Not Required, but Encouraged)
- Experience or proficiency with Rust
- Frontend experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks
- Previous work with large-scale data ingestion, AI agents, or workflow automation
What a Good Fit Looks Like
- You enjoy solving open-ended, challenging problems
- You value good design and UX (you have an eye for details)
- You thrive with owning end-to-end product development
- You can explain complex technical ideas simply
- You’re extremely proactive—always looking for the next improvement
