Cactus is a cross-platform open-source framework for running AI models locally on smartphones. Cactus completed a highly oversubscribed fundraising round and now actively scaling the engineering team.

Role Description

AI Inference Engineers build and maintain the AI SDKs for mobile developers, leveraging experience in native mobile development, artificial intelligence and cross-platform frameworks like React-Native and Flutter. AI inference engineers are also forward deployed to enterprises to get them started. This role requires ownership and high sense of agency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or relevant experience.
• Strong background in React Native library development
• Experience with native mobile development (iOS, Android)
• Experience with LLMs, AI agents and machine learning
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• A sense of urgency and interest in startups
