Finance teams today spend countless hours manually stitching together exports from Stripe, Shopify, Salesforce, and internal tools just to close the books. We’re replacing that manual grind with intelligent agents that can ingest messy operational data, apply accounting logic, and generate clean journal entries — all in a transparent, auditable way.

We’re looking for a Summer 2026 AI Engineer Intern to join our small, fast-moving team. You’ll work directly with the founders and early engineers to prototype, train, and deploy AI-powered accounting agents. This internship is hands-on — you’ll ship real features into production, touch every part of the stack (LLM apps, data pipelines, accounting workflows), and see your work impact live customers.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build AI workflows using LLMs (LangChain, RAG, agents).
• Contribute to our internal rule engine and workflow builder.
• Help improve accuracy, explainability, and reliability of AI outputs for mission-critical accounting use cases.
• Collaborate with the founding team on new product ideas, and ship them quickly.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills (Python required; SQL and React/Tailwind a plus).
• Experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, etc.).
• Interest in reasoning, agent frameworks, and data workflows.
• Most importantly: curiosity, scrappiness, and excitement about building in a startup environment.
