Have you seen Apollo 13, The Martian, or Armageddon and recall all of the NASA engineers in a room with a bunch of monitors? Quindar is digitizing that away. Satellites are flying servers in space and we are revolutionizing the future of spacecraft operations by building the DataDog for space.
Our team has worked at SpaceX, OneWeb, Lockheed Martin, Iridium, Boeing, AWS, and RedHat. We've operated dozens of satellites, worked on broadband and earth observation constellations, and serviced commercial and government users. We are using lessons learned from our previous aerospace and startup experiences to revolutionize the space industry and enable access to space without being an expert.
Quindar is a leading provider of mission management solutions purpose-built to operate large-scale, multivendor satellite fleets in a common operating picture (COP). Our platform was designed from day one to automate the management of diverse constellations, for thousands of satellites, while providing a COP across space and ground segments. Quindar is a company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied satellite mission management services. Quindar’s approach treats the components of any Common Ground Element as modular, cloud-native microservices that decouple key functions—constellation health and safety, automated anomaly resolution, command orchestration, and communications link management—from a single vendor, including Quindar itself. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Quindar is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, and networking to the satellite fleets of the future.
About the Team
Quindar’s team is dedicated to expanding our AI-powered capabilities into the final frontier, enhancing satellite command and control for the U.S. military and allied partners. We're developing fully integrated software systems to address growing threats in space and ensure our Guardians maintain a decisive advantage in this contested warfighting domain.
About the Role
We are hiring a strategic and execution-driven Business Development Manager to help lead our US Government capture strategy. This role is responsible for identifying, shaping, and capturing major opportunities in the national security space sector. Your focus won’t just be on chasing Request for Proposals (RFPs)—it’ll be on making them happen and delivering.
The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, has deep experience working with government stakeholders (specifically Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community), is considered an extreme owner, and understands that the majority of work happens before a specific source selection is identified. You’ll be at the tip of the spear working closely with customer leadership, product teams, engineers, and executive leadership to shape future programs and deliver critical capability to the mission. Once an opportunity is identified you’ll drive the entire capture strategy, own customer engagements, and drive proposal execution. In many cases, you will have the opportunity to follow a successful proposal into the execution phase should Quindar win the opportunity.
This position is perfect for someone excited about space, software, and driving growth in a fast-paced, technically complex industry.
