Stack Auth is the open-source customer platform, simple to use and designed for developers. We build everything that's between the developer and the user — that's authentication, payments, customer support, analytics, marketing emails, and so much more.
We're based in a hacker house in San Francisco. We're a small & agile team of builds who value intellectual curiosity over anything else — if that resonates, we should chat.

Want to build tools for hackers, builders, and founders, and join us at our hacker house this summer?
Stack Auth is the one platform for everything related to customers — authentication, payments, customer support, marketing emails, analytics and so much more. Our customers are startups like ourselves; we take your prototype and make it into a SaaS.
If you like design, infrastructure, or generally just building for devs, you’ll love this place. We’re small, agile, and ambitious; we nerd out about AI at lunch, philosophy after dinner, and hackathons on the weekend. I promise it’ll be fun.

We are building on TypeScript, Next.js and PostgreSQL. Stack Auth is 100% open-source and self-hostable.
Auth is a very complicated problem to tackle; we spend lots of time making sure our SDK, REST APIs, and database schemas are as clean as they can be.
In order to remain lean despite pushing out new features every day, we automate wherever possible. For example, we use AI to test our frontends and our own snapshot test framework on the backend; also, we use LLMs to automate documentation gruntwork.
If you want to be at the front seat of technology, you should work here.
