About the Role

We’re seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering, problem-solving, and customer success.
You’ll be out in the field — virtually or in-person — deploying and customizing our AI products for clinics, debugging edge cases, and ensuring integrations work seamlessly in high-stakes, real-world environments.

If you’re as comfortable coding as you are hopping on a call with a clinic to troubleshoot an integration live, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Deploy & Integrate: Work closely with clinics to integrate Novoflow’s AI agents into their workflows, especially across messy, legacy EHR systems.
• Build Fast: Write high-quality, scalable code in Python and JS/TypeScript, shipping features to production in days, not weeks.
• Solve Problems in Real Time: Debug and fix issues live in customer environments.
• Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with founders, product, and ML teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Own the Outcome: Be responsible for successful launches, from first meeting to full rollout.

Who You Are / Must-Haves:

• Startup Mindset: Prior startup experience strongly preferred; former founders welcome.
• Experience: 2–6 years in software engineering with customer-facing project work.
• Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, JS/TypeScript, Next.js, AWS, Postgres, and Docker.
• Bonus: Experience with HIPAA compliance and healthcare integrations.
• People Skills: Comfortable in customer conversations, from onboarding to solving technical issues under pressure.
