Demand Generation Manager at Handoff

We’re hiring a Demand Generation Manager to own our outbound marketing engine and deliver a predictable, measurable flow of qualified leads. This is a hands-on role focused on outbound email and multi-channel campaigns, including lifecycle, paid, and experimental growth channels.

You’ll partner closely with Sales and Product to create sequences, build landing pages, and execute lifecycle programs that convert both net-new leads and existing users. You should be an expert in outbound email, but also comfortable orchestrating multi-channel campaigns that include paid, organic, and lifecycle components.

This role is ideal for someone with strong executional muscle and a background in B2B demand gen or growth marketing—especially in SMB-focused motions. You should be excited about working in a startup environment and owning projects from start to finish.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and launch outbound campaigns using tools like Clay, Instantly, and HubSpot
  • Write and test high-performing email sequences tailored to different personas
  • Create and optimize landing pages that support conversion across campaigns
  • Run lifecycle programs to deepen engagement with our existing customer base
  • Design and manage multi-channel campaigns across email, landing pages, paid, and organic
  • Collaborate with Sales on lead handoff, targeting, and messaging
  • Track and report on key metrics like open/reply rates, SQLs, and CAC
  • Develop and document scalable systems for outbound and lifecycle marketing
  • Run monthly growth experiments to test copy, audience, and channel performance
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices in email, outbound, and demand gen

About you

  • 5+ years in demand generation, growth, or lifecycle marketing roles
  • Experience with tools like Clay, Instantly, HubSpot, Apollo, or similar
  • Hands-on copywriter comfortable owning messaging from idea to execution
  • Familiar with basic landing page tools like Webflow, Unbounce, etc.
  • Proven experience running multi-channel demand gen campaigns across outbound, lifecycle, and paid
  • Background in SMB marketing motions with a strong understanding of volume, speed, and personalization
  • Analytical thinker who loves dashboards, attribution, and tracking performance
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment
  • Startup mindset: resourceful, proactive, and quick to iterate
  • Bonus: Background in SaaS or B2B selling to blue-collar or SMB audiences
