Coris is building the AI layer for payments risk and operations. We work with the most ambitious platforms, marketplaces, and payment providers such as GoFundMe, Kajabi, Clio and Cherry to automate and accelerate merchant onboarding, monitoring, and decision-making. What risk teams only imagined two years ago, Coris is delivering today with our risk platform and AI agents.

We’re backed by Y Combinator, Lux Capital, Pathlight Ventures, and other world-class investors — and we’re just getting started. With exploding growth this year and a solid playbook to accelerate further, we are looking for our Founding AE that will play a super-critical role in our next phase.


🚀 What You’ll Do

  • Drive the full sales cycle from first touch to close — including sourcing, pitching, demos, negotiation, and handoff
  • Develop and refine repeatable sales motions in early GTM stages, working closely with the founders
  • Build strong relationships with executives at SaaS platforms, payment providers, fintechs, and marketplaces
  • Collaborate with product and marketing to shape our roadmap and narrative based on customer conversations
  • Become an expert in merchant risk and AI-native workflows — and help educate the market

🧎‍What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales, ideally selling to risk, fraud, or payments teams at mid-market companies, large enterprises and banks
  • Comfortable selling technical products and navigating complex orgs and buying cycles
  • Proven ability to open doors and close deals — especially in ambiguous, early-stage environments
  • Excellent communicator and storyteller — you can explain products clearly and compellingly
  • Extremely high agency, resilient, and scrappy. You love building from scratch and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves

  • Familiarity with payments, risk, or compliance
  • Background in founding or early GTM roles at fast-scaling startups

Technology

Work at Coris involves extracting valuable insights from reams of structured and unstructured data from hundreds of sources. We employ deep learning based NLP and Sentiment Analysis to extract risk and credit signals, and present them in an enhanced format to our users. Our work involves, among others, crawling the web and scraping data on the web for useful information about small businesses.

The technology stack is built on Python, Django, HTML Javascript, and React. We use Airflow for batch processing and Kafka for async & near real-time processing. On the ML side, we use PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Huggingface Transformers etc. The dockerized application is hosted on AWS.
