About the role
Skills: Data Analytics

As an Account Executive at GrowthBook, you’ll be responsible for owning the full sales cycle, from responding to inbound customers to prospecting leads to closing deals and ensuring customer success. You’ll work closely with our sales, marketing, and customer success teams to bring our cutting-edge experimentation platform to companies looking to scale their feature flagging and A/B testing capabilities. As GrowthBook is a highly technical product, experience with our space or other technical SaaS sales products is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales cycle from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up.
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at mid-market and enterprise companies.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and articulate the value of GrowthBook’s platform to potential customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine messaging and optimize lead-generation efforts.
  • Partner with the customer success team to ensure a seamless transition from sale to implementation.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to GrowthBook’s overall revenue growth.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide regular sales forecasts.
  • Provide regular updates to our product and engineering teams about product feedback.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in a SaaS sales role, preferably in developer tools, analytics, or experimentation platforms.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, A/B testing, and feature flagging concepts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Tenacious, self-motivated, and driven to succeed.
  • Experience selling to engineers, data scientists, and product managers is a plus.
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms.
  • US East Coast time zone preferred (we have many customers in Europe).
Technology

Our primary stack is Typescript, React (Next.js), Node (express), Python, and MongoDB. We also make heavy use of SQL since we integrate with our customer's data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.). Our open source app is released as a Docker container and we have a cloud-hosted version in AWS.

In addition to the main GrowthBook app, we also build and maintain SDKs in many languages so there's plenty of opportunities to write some Go, Ruby, Swift, and more.
