The role
We're looking for a dynamic person to own QuestDB’s technical content strategy. Our technical content includes documentation, UIs, articles, websites, repositories, newsletters, language clients and more. Your mission is to guide us towards an overall best-in-class experience for developers in these key areas. As an essential part of the team, you'll orchestrate, execute, and iterate upon content strategies that help grow our open-source community, and drive organic traffic to our website.
The team has your back. You'll work with our engaged community and full R&D team to ensure our overall presence is clear, accurate, and a truly smooth path for developers progressing from their first start and into paying customers and partners. To do so, you'll leverage your refined communication skills and breadth of technical expertise. You'll rely on trusted experiences, while looking forward towards new technologies like AI to continuously improve the user's core experience and refine our voice in the market.
In addition to ownership of high-level content strategy and its supporting systems, this is a hands on contributing role. You will actively create technical content, such as blogs, landing pages, newsletters, tutorials and case studies, and ensure that all communication is genuinely valuable and engaging for developers. Part of your role will be to encourage interaction with our articles, surface developer questions and solutions, and turn community insights and real-world usage into content.

What we offer
Working at QuestDB
We hire talented and passionate people who share our mission to empower developers to solve their problems with data. We are building breakthrough technology to power the infrastructure of tomorrow.
QuestDB is a high-performance, open-source SQL database for applications in financial services, IoT, machine learning, DevOps and observability. It includes endpoints for PostgreSQL wire protocol, high-throughput schema-agnostic ingestion using InfluxDB Line Protocol, and a REST API for queries, bulk imports, and exports.
QuestDB implements ANSI SQL with native extensions for time-oriented language features. These extensions make it simple to correlate data from multiple sources using relational and time series joins. QuestDB achieves high performance from a column-oriented storage model, massively-parallelized vector execution, SIMD instructions, and various low-latency techniques. The entire codebase was built from the ground up in Java and C++, with no dependencies, and is 100% free from garbage collection.
