Position Summary:

SiPhox’s ability to deliver precise, personalized guidance depends on translating rapidly evolving biomedical research into clear, actionable insights. We are looking for a scientist‑operator who can continuously evaluate new biomarker studies, judge their clinical relevance, and encode validated findings into the rules, prompts, and training materials that power our automated insight engine. By maintaining an authoritative, evidence‑graded knowledge base, you will ensure that every SiPhox recommendation is both current and trustworthy—and that our roadmap for new health programs is grounded in the strongest available science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the biomarker knowledge graph
  • Continuously scan peer‑reviewed literature, clinical guidelines, and conference proceedings; score and catalogue findings for clinical relevance, effect size, and level of evidence.
  • Maintain a living database of biomarker‑condition‑intervention links that feeds our LLM‑driven and rule-based insights engines.
• Design scalable insights & actions
  • Translate research signals into rules, prompts, and decision trees powering our automated insight and action‑plan system.
  • Define clinical guard‑rails, urgency flags, and contraindication logic to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Launch new biomarker programs
  • Partner with product and health expert teams to select, validate, and prioritize panels for goal-driven programs (e.g., longevity, fertility, thyroid-health).
  • Author scientific rationales, target ranges, and evidence summaries for each marker.
• Measure & iterate
  • Define success metrics (engagement, outcome improvements, NPS) for every insight you ship and run experiments to optimize them.

Qualifications:

• PhD, MD, PharmD, or MS in a biomedical discipline (Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Nutrition Science, Epidemiology, or related).
• 5+ years combined experience in clinical research, translational science, or digital health product development.
• Familiarity with biomarkers across cardiometabolic, hormonal, immunologic, and longevity domains.
• Proven ability to critically appraise literature (clinical trials, meta‑analyses, cohort studies) and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills—able to write both technical memos and lay‑language user guidance.
• Comfortable working with structured data (SQL/Python/R).

Nice‑to‑have

• Publication record in biology, epidemiology, nutrition science, or related field.
• Familiarity with regulatory pathways (CLIA, CAP, FDA SaMD) and health‑privacy standards (HIPAA).
