AI will change this forever, and how we create and consume video will look completely different in 5 years time. We're starting by 1000Xing the amount of video made by software companies. Not just more video, but better video – compelling, authentic, entertaining, and beautiful.

We're taking a novel approach in the video space. We think making videos is reasoning-heavy, so we're focusing on using LLMs and interfaces to orchestrate the best domain-specific models.

We’re building a creative tool for content engineers (think Cursor) along with the agentic infrastructure to scale that content to infinity (think Devin).

We’re design-led, we’ve intentionally architecture our tech stack in webGL to maximize the ceiling of what can be made and expressed visually in Yarn.

About the role

We’re building in stealth with world-class teams at companies like Clay and Shopify, and we’re looking for a founding designer role in-person in NYC.

We’ve hit an inflection point on fit with our customers and now looking to aggressively grow the team across design, engineering, and AI.

We’re looking for a talented designer who will shape both the user experience of our product and the visual quality of content created with Yarn.

Someone with an extremely good eye, the ability to reason and think creatively, able to push the boundaries of what’s possible, and have a founder mindset with strong equity.

Things you might work on immediately

• Steer the visual direction of Yarn’s brand across surfaces.
• Work with customers like Clay or Shopify to elevate their visual storytelling through video.
• Design core agent interfaces and creative tool experiences.
• Help build out new motion graphics features.
• Write WebGL shaders for special FX and graphics.
